Variety reports that the people at Disney have bought the rights to the yet-to-be-published novel “Grandma’s Intergalactic Bed & Breakfast” by Clete Smith.
They project will be handed to Mandeville Films who produced Beverly Hills Chihuahua for Disney.

Grandma’s Intergalactic Bed & Breakfast” tells the story of a boy who goes to visit his hippie grandmother for the first time and discovers that her inn caters to vacationing aliens, a secret that she has been able to keep from her small town.
