As our readers in Europe know, Disney films are being dubbed in other languages with great local actor stepping in as the voices of the characters seen on screen. Italy is the leading country in film dubbing and mastered it to almost a form of art, with many Hollywood actors becoming fans and friends of their “Italian alter ego voices”.
Last night at the Italian Dubbing Awards 2010 held in Rome actress Claudia Razzi win the award for Best actress for the role of The Queen Of Hearts in Tim Burton‘s Alice In Wonderland.
Claudia, who is now the official Italian voice of Helena Bonham Carter, has dubbed the British actress in most of her latest films, including Sweeney Todd and Terminator Salvation.
