The next classic animated title to be released in the Disney Diamond Collection has just been revealed by
Disney and it’s Bambi.

The 1942 film will receive the Blu Ray high-definition treatment and will reach stores in the Spring of 2011,
six years after it was remastered and first released on DVD in 2005.

“Bambi” will follow “Beauty and the Beast” which is the next Diamond title that will

arrive on Blu Ray and Dvd on October 5th 2010. The new edition of “Beauty and the Beast” will include a
never-before-seen alternate opening and other deleted footage.

In other Disney home entertainment news the long out of print titles “Fantasia” and “Fantasia 2000” are also
expected to be released in Blu Ray and DVD in December 2010 but it is not clear yet if they are
apparently part of the Diamond series.
