It’s time to take a look at this year’s Accademy Award nominations. Disney/Pixar pictures earn six Oscar nominations in the animated feature category for the wonderful and touching WALL•E that
unfortunately failed to make the cut for Best Picture, but was nominated for best animated feature, best original screenplay, best sound editing, best original score, best original song and best sound mixing.

Also nominated in the same category is Disney’s Bolt joining DreamWorks’ Kung Fu Panda.
The Bolt nomination came up as a surprise while WALL•E and Kung Fu Panda were quite expected.
