Some great Disney art books are awaiting us in 2009. Among them here are three intriguing ones about Sketches, Dancing and Princes.

“A Disney Sketchbook 1928 – 2008“, and hardcover book credited to “Disney Animators” will be released on June 30 2009. It is yet not clear what will contain but judging from the cover it should be a great collection of character sketches from 1928 to 2008.

Two other promising releases are “Hippo in a Tutu: Dancing in Disney Animation” by Mindy Aloff and “Disney’s Neglected Prince: The Art of Disney’s Knights in Shining Armor (and Loincloths)”. These will also be released in 2009.
